
Our Philosophy
Saisei, of Japanese origin and pronounced "saisé", means rebirth in English. This is the philosophy that guides us in each massage service we offer. We try to make the inner world of each client stop and emerge from its stillness, renewed in mind and body.
About Japhet Rivera, MS, LMT
Japhet holds a BA from the University of Puerto Rico and a master's degree from Florida International University. He also holds a certification from the Puerto Rico Massage and Bodyworks Institute, in Therapeutic Massage and a license to practice this profession from the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. Having practiced various sports such as artistic gymnastics, kenjutsu and swimming, he has experienced the challenges of maintaining a healthy body performance while being challenged physically. Approximately in 2010, his mother was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, which led him to explore complementary treatments to manage chronic conditions, optimizing the quality of life of patients who suffer from it. Japhet stays current in the discipline of bodywork, attending certified workshops and maintaining memberships in both the American Massage Therapy Association and the Associated Bodyworks and Massage Therapy Professionals

Relaxing (Swedish) Massage
Massage focused on reducing stress through the activation of the parasympathetic nervous system, neurotransmitters and hormones such as oxytocin, dopamine and serotonin. Research shows its effectiveness in treating conditions such as generalized anxiety syndrome and depression, among other benefits.
Deep Tissue
Deep tissue massage is a very effective technique for treating and/or eliminating muscle tension accumulated by physical exercises or for relieving chronic muscle pain caused by health conditions, intense physical activities, poor posture, and continued stressful situations that accumulate in the body.

Progressive stretching session focused on improving range of motion. This session can simultaneously work on strengthening and stretching muscles to promote healthy joint mobility, obtain greater flexibility and prevent injuries. These techniques have sports/fitness and clinical applications.

Application of bodywork techniques to manage various tissues of the body. It can be incorporated as a complementary treatment for various musculoskeletal conditions such as piriformis syndrome (related to sciatica), frozen shoulder, patellofemoral syndrome and carpal tunnel syndrome among others.
